Why choose us

Our strength? Knowing how to bring out the best in every child.

Choosing Peter Pan and The English Primary School means offering your children a continuous, innovative, and international educational journey that supports their growth from preschool through elementary school in a welcoming, stimulating environment that prioritizes the well-being of every child.

In Preschool, children are immersed in the English language from day one, in a natural way, through play, daily routines, and interactions with native-speaking teachers. In Primary, that same language becomes a tool for learning, reasoning, and communication, within a bilingual curriculum accredited by Cambridge International.

Our approach combines Montessori-inspired methods in Preschool with experiential learning, Outdoor Education, and the latest findings in neuroscience on the importance of social interaction, fostering curiosity, independence, creativity, and self-confidence.

Welcoming, Supporting, Listening

For over twenty years, we have been working alongside families, because education means much more than just teaching: it means helping every child become a capable, self-aware individual who is ready to face the future with confidence.

We know that well-being is the foundation of all authentic learning. We create peaceful, welcoming environments that are attentive to children’s emotional and relational needs.  Each child is supported at their own pace and according to their own potential, as part of a journey that fosters linguistic, cognitive, relational, and social skills.

How does this translate into practice?

Teachers observe, listen, and support every stage of growth. They build trusting relationships that allow each child to feel safe, valued, and free to express themselves.

At Preschool, this translates into a gradual adjustment period, reassuring routines, and an environment that children recognize as their own.

At Primary, this translates into small class sizes, the Buddy Groups system, membership in their own House Group (Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn), and educational continuity that accompanies each transition to the next grade level without abrupt changes.

Full immersion English and Bilingualism

English accompanies children throughout their educational journey. In Preschool, it is the language of daily life: acquired naturally, without pressure, through play, songs, routines, and constant interaction with native-speaking teachers. In Primary, it becomes a structured skill: reading, writing, and oral communication with a Cambridge International-accredited curriculum and 11 hours of English instruction per week.

This is a carefully planned progression: the foundations laid in Preschool become the groundwork upon which Primary builds to achieve authentic bilingualism.

Outdoor education

The outdoor environment is one of the settings where learning takes place most effectively.

The spacious green areas make our schools unique and are an integral part of the educational journey. The children go outside every day: to the park, the Secret Garden, the play areas, and the educational garden. Outdoors, they observe, experiment, and collaborate.

In Preschool, outdoor time is integrated into the daily schedule with two daily outings and free exploration activities. In Primary, the outdoors becomes a setting for science, math, and art activities, for sustainability projects, and for developing a mindful and responsible relationship with nature.

curriculum

Our identity is defined by the integration of full immersion English and bilingualism, active research-based teaching, and Outdoor Education.

In Preschool, we draw inspiration from the Montessori method to foster independence, while in Primary, we use interdisciplinary approaches to transform natural curiosity into energy for learning. Teachers act as guides and facilitators, valuing each student’s uniqueness.

Educational model

We are convinced that feeling at home at school is the foundation for real learning. Academic success is considered directly proportional to the smooth functioning of the class group’s relationships; for this reason, we invest in a stable and consistent educationalist who works alongside teachers to welcome, listen to, and respond to the emotional and social needs of students at every stage of their growth.
The quality of the educational experience depends on the ongoing training of our teachers. Through the Becoming Academy, the team participates in workshops, training on innovative methodologies, and pedagogical supervision to ensure an educational offer that is always in line with the most recent research.

Teacher training

Our curriculum aims for the development of the 8 European key competences, fostering a critical mindset and independence. Thanks to bilingualism and the Cambridge Global Perspectives programme (in Years 4 and 5), students learn to analyse global issues from different perspectives, developing an open mind and skills applicable in international contexts.
