Why choose us
Let’s put the relationship at the centre
At Asilo Bianco, every girl and every boy grows up in an environment designed to welcome them, spark their curiosity and make them feel at home.
Growth stems from participation, relationships and shared experiences. It is through these experiences that children build trust in themselves, in others and in the world around them.
Spaces form part of the educational programme; they are the third educator.. Natural light, the warmth of the materials, bespoke furnishings and open yet cosy spaces help children to move around, explore, pause, observe and form deep relationships.
Every day, we create an environment where listening, connection and care come together, respecting each child’s own pace and embracing their individuality. A setting in which every child can feel valued and supported on their own journey.
We believe that feeling good is essential for growth and learning. That is why Asilo Bianco is a safe, bright and lively place, where every interaction becomes an opportunity for discovery and learning, enrichment and experience.

Welcoming, supporting, listening
We know that the early years of life are crucial. Every child has their own pace, and we respect that, day after day.
Thanks to the role of the educationalist, who works alongside the educational team on an ongoing basis, Asilo Bianco is an environment capable of understanding the children’s needs, supporting families and building relationships of trust that stand the test of time.
Communication with families is not a secondary service: it is an integral part of our educational model. Every parent is a partner in this shared journey.
How does this work in practice?
On a typical morning at Asilo Bianco, the children might listen to a story in Italian and English, go out into the garden or to the park to collect leaves, play with clay, and have a leisurely lunch together, whilst learning to do a little more on their own each time.

Natural bilingualism

At Asilo Bianco, Italian and English coexist every day, right from the moment children join the nursery.
These are not language lessons: the children explore, play and discover the world through two languages, each at their own pace.
Native English-speaking teachers work alongside native Italian-speaking teachers throughout the day, ensuring a balanced mix of Italian and English. Each member of the teaching staff speaks to the children exclusively in their own mother tongue.
This approach makes learning spontaneous and natural, without any pressure.
Outdoor education

Nature is a valuable learning environment.
Going outdoors is a right for children, and for us it is an integral part of our educational programme.
All the rooms in the nursery look out onto a large green space, designed for play and discovery.
Every morning, the children enter via a wooden walkway that doubles as a track for tricycles, a stage and a table for outdoor snacks. All around, small hills and stone paths encourage them to move freely and build confidence in their own bodies. Here, nature is part of everyday life: colours, sounds and scents that change with the seasons.
Children learn to look after the environment when they feel they are part of it. Every trip to the park, every neighbourhood get-together, every moment spent in the garden creates a genuine connection with nature and the local area: a sense of belonging, curiosity and respect.
We cherish stories that spark the imagination

At Asilo Bianco, books are an integral part of everyday life.
We have a collection of around 600 illustrated children’s books, gathered over the years and linked to the history of the service in the local area. This collection forms the basis of the Biblioteca Primo Libro, a library within the nursery, designed to introduce children to the joy of reading.
Through storytelling, children develop their imagination, discover different worlds and give expression to their emotions. Stories also serve as a starting point for creative activities, workshops and educational programmes.
For us, reading means opening up possibilities: learning, embracing differences and developing new ways of looking at the world.
Educators undergoing continuing professional development

The teachers at Asilo Bianco are constantly engaged in research, training and pedagogical supervision. This professional development is reflected every day in the quality of the experiences offered to the children.
Through the Becoming Academy, our team takes part in training courses, workshops and discussions with experts from the world of education. Because looking after those who educate means looking after the children.
Pedagogical supervision
At Asilo Bianco, there is a permanent and consistent educational figure who supports the nursery staff, families and children throughout their development.
The educationalist analyses educational contexts, supports curriculum planning and strengthens the educational partnership based on shared responsibility between school and family, with the common aim of helping every young person to grow into an informed citizen.
